Clip wire - also known as net wire - is used for sealing of bags, nets or plastic bags for fruits, vegetables, nuts or potatoes, for example. On so called ‚Spain-Clippers‘ this type of wire is used by fruit producers or packaging companies. This article is also used for the packaging of wooden toys and for fixing of drawstring ends.

Clip wire is produced on 4.5 kg - 20 kg spools and mainly in 3.0 x 0.50 mm and 4.0 x 0 50 mm (= standard dimensions). Any other dimension is available on demand.

Available surface treatment for clip wire is galvanized or coppered. The type of surface treatment has impact on the rust protection of the wire: red-bright or coppered clip wires provide a minimum of rust protection when used with food packaging, followed by tinned wires provding even higher rust protection.
